How to take bookings straight from your Instagram bio
Most of your clients find you on Instagram or TikTok. Here is how to let them book the moment they decide, without a single message.
Most new clients find a hairdresser, barber or nail artist the same way: they scroll, they like what they see, they tap your profile. What happens next decides whether they book or move on.
If the only option is "DM to book", you lose people. Some don't want to write, some write at 11 pm and book somewhere else before you reply, and the ones who stay start a long thread about which day and which time might work. An online booking page in your bio ends that.
What a booking link does
A booking link is one address, like noopi.app/yoursalon, that opens a page with your services, prices, photos and free times. The client picks a service, a person and a time, writes their name and email, and they are booked. The booking lands in your calendar and they get a confirmation right away.
No account to create, no app to download, no messages back and forth.
Set it up in three steps
1. Pick a look. Your page should feel like your place. Choose a style that matches your brand and add your best photos: the room, your work, yourself.
2. Add what you offer. List your services with honest durations and prices. If prices vary, show a starting price ("from 1 290"). Add your team so clients can choose who they book, or take the first free time.
3. Put the link in your bio. On Instagram: Edit profile → Links → Add external link. Do the same on TikTok, your Google Business Profile and WhatsApp Business. One link, everywhere clients look for you.
Make the link work harder
- Say it in your posts. End captions with "Book through the link in my bio". People need to be told.
- Share free times. When a slot opens up, post a story with your link. The first person to tap gets it.
- Pin a post about booking. New followers will see how to book before anything else.
- Keep your hours current. Your page only offers times you actually work, so holidays and days off belong in the calendar, not in a DM.
When you want to say yes first
Not every booking should go straight in. For a big colour change, a tattoo or a first visit, you may want to read the note before you commit. With approval turned on for those services, the client sends a request, you get a notification, and you confirm or decline with one tap. Regulars can still book instantly.
Frequently asked questions
Do my clients need an account or an app? No. They book with their name and email; a phone number is optional. The Noopi app is there for clients who want all their visits in one place, but nobody has to install it.
Can I use the same link on TikTok and Google? Yes. It is a normal web address, so it works anywhere you can paste a link.
What if a client books a time I can't do? Clients only see times that are free in your calendar. For services where you want to check first, turn on approval and nothing books until you say yes.
